I need to rename this substack away from “Flirtcheap’s US Macro.”
I am at a bit of a loss for what to call it. The name needs to be short, but descriptive enough so that a new person that only saw the name might have some clue what the substack is about without being primed in any way. Flirtcheap does not need to be in the name.
The words need to be understandable enough that someone of slightly above average intelligence and exposure to concepts in life would know what they mean.
US Macro is not descriptive enough for the top 40% of people to understand it from a cold reading. Anything that more accurately drives someone to understand that this is about finance, money, crypto, etc. Is welcome.
Whoever comes up with the name I choose will be comped their subscription here for a year. This is open to everyone whether you are a free subscriber or paid.
Leave suggestions in the comments, and once again, thank you to all of you that have subscribed, somehow this is already in the top 50 Substacks on Finance, I could not have done that without your attention, participation, comments, and the incountable times you have all shared my posts that have been helpful or useful to you.
I truly am blessed and cherish every single one of you.

Keep it on Flirtcheap.
Not sure where/why you came up with the name originally, but as someone who found you on insta and followed you to here it's an iconic nomination for whatever exactly your brand is. What's "flirtcheap" to me? For the first several months I was an insta follower I tried to guess what the name meant specifically, or how it might at least have some sporadic importance to your timeline, to little avail. Was this near daily market/political/social/comedic(or any mix thereof) analysis just drawing eyes to give way to a fantastic and worthwhile coupon every season or something? Luckily not. But where the lack of the obvious leaves vacuum imagination prevails, so we project our own desires of what flirtcheap might be against the things flirtcheap presents. To my tastes, I savor that it stokes our tendency to feel enticed and playful within an exponentially evolving marketplace(the flirt, as it were) while also bearing practical and fundamental guidance alongside(the "cheap", or at least thrifty, dao of practicality).
Maybe that's not the intent of the original name at all, or how anyone else sees it, but at least it piqued interest somewhere that many others had failed. Also it's already way smoother than any other name some cryptofin bro could come up with.
